~~ 2008 PHOTO GALLERY ~~

7/3/08 SpainMeaghan and I took a month and traveled along the coast of Spain. We started on the Mediterranean side in Sitges, flew to Ibiza, flew back to Valencia and we went to Benidorm,. Then we went to Granada and Fuengirola. Once we got to the Atlantic side, we stopped in Tarifa, Zahara de los Atunes, Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera.

5/17/08 I Had to Put Hershey DownI had been debating whether and when to put Hershey down. It had gotten to the point where she couldn't walk and she appeared to be really suffering. Anyhow, these are some pictures of her as a puppy and our last couple of days together.

4/21/08 Hogsback, Santa Fe and NMHUA few pics hiking Hogsback in Durango. Plus, Meaghan and I went down to Santa Fe and Las Vegas, NM for me to do my oral presentation and conclude my MBA at NMHU.

3/23/08 Taos TripWe rode Taos. We were there for the first weekend Taos was opened to snowboarding.

3/1/08 TellurideMeaghan and I went over to Telluride to ride for the day.

2/16/08 PurgatoryFor the amount of time I spend up there, you'd think I'd have more pictures. Anyways, here's a couple Meaghan and I snapped of each other.

2/05/08 Snow, Snowdown, Mom's BdayMy parents came out for my mom's 60th birthday. This happened to coincide with the Snowdown festival in Durango. And, we just happened to get nailed with 2 feet of snow the weekend before they came and another 2 feet of snow while they were here.

12/28/07 Atlanta ChristmasThis year we spent Christmas in Atlanta with my parents. While there we all went to the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, Centennial Olympic Park and CNN.

12/15/07 Meaghan's Masters GraduationMeaghan earned her Masters degree at Adams State College in Language, Literacy and Culture with an endorsement in Linguistically Diverse Education.

10/30/07 Hershey's AmputationMy Hershey had a real fast onset of bone cancer that grew into a great big tumor on her hind leg. When we left for Greece, there was a little swelling in her leg and she had started to go lame. By the time we got back from Greece at the beginning of August, the tumor had grown to be the size of a softball. As such, we were faced with the question of do you put her down or do you amputate. We amputated. In the last couple of months, she's done wonderful for a 12 year old dog. She's found her balance and can hike about a mile or two.

9/17/07 Andreas' Visit and ArchesAndreas visited from Germany. We went camping over in Moab and visited Arches.

8/01/07 GreeceMeaghan and I took a month long trip to the Greek Islands.

6/27/07 Hermosa Creek TrailBen and I went biking from the Upper Hermosa trailhead down to the Lower Hermosa trailhead. About 2/3rds of the way in I managed to go over my handlebars at full speed and tear myself up pretty good.

6/17/07 Pine River TrailMeaghan and I took the horse out to the Pine River trail. It was gorgeous.
